Rebecca La Mothe is a lifelong visual artist now residing in Eugene, Oregon. Her artwork in oils, pastels and acrylics graces the homes of friends, family and patrons from coast to coast and worldwide. After completing her undergraduate study of art at the University of Oregon, her passion for art continued to be fueled by visits to the great museums of art and temples of worship throughout Europe, North America, Mexico, and Guatemala; and by her commitment to experimentation and development of skills in her chosen media.

From her equal passion for spiritual development came her study of eastern spirituality, alternative healing, energetic medicine, the vibrational healing qualities of color and form, meditation, as well as the art of India and Tibet. With the enhanced development of her intuition, the desire to explore and share the unseen world through art, and with her newly acquired airbrush skills, Rebecca began to offer commissioned Personal Mandalas to interested spiritual seekers. Following a 9-year hiatus during the early single-parenting years of her son, she again began to offer these exquisite and personally meaningful mandalas, as well as museum quality prints of this exceptional mandala work.

Inspired by the great beauty and energetic quality of nature, Rebecca continues to explore her more personal and experimental work. Utilizing bas-relief techniques, she incorporates plaster, relief carving, acrylics, metals and metal leaf and other mediums from nature on wood or canvas to create images evoking the intrinsic relationship between spirit and matter. Some of these original pieces are available for purchase, and most are available in the form of museum quality prints.
